Mr. Amarkai Amarteifio

Mr. Amarkai Amarteifio is a distinguished Ghanaian lawyer, sports administrator and politician. Mr. Amarteifio was appointed by Jerry John Rawlings, then Chairman of the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) to serve as Secretary for Youth and Sports. He served in that role from 1983 – 1987. Mr. Amarteifio is currently the board chairman of Accra Great Olympics Football Club.
Mr. Amarkai Amarteifio, was also the Consul General of Sweden in Ghana for many years. He is the Dean of Consul Generals in Ghana and Vice President of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC). He is a member of the International Bar Association. Mr. Amarteifio is a founding member of the Ghana Arbitration Centre and serves on its Governing Council.
