Mr. Edward Addo
Managing Director
Mr. Edward Addo is the Managing Director of Winmat Publishers Limited. He is a product of the Ghana Institute of Languages and has taken various in-house training programmes at Macmillan Education in the UK. He has several years of experience in the publishing industry in Cameroun, the Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Malaysia, and Sierra Leone. He is an innovative Ghanaian entrepreneur with a strong marketing and management background. Before setting up WPL, he was the Area General Manager for West Africa Macmillan Education and became Managing Director of Unimax Macmillan.
He is a patron of the Ghana Association of Science Teachers and a former trustee of the Ghana Physicians and Surgeons Endowment Fund. He was a member of the President’s National Planning Committee for the establishment of the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, and the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani. He is also a long-standing Rotarian, a keen golfer, and a philanthropist.
He serves on the board of Alpha Petro and Westfield Drill Ltd.
Mrs. Augustina Ababio
Administrator
Mrs. Augustina Ababio is the Administrative Manager and also manages the HR unit of Winmat Publishers Limited. She attended St. Godrics Secretarial College in London, UK, Pensionnat Surval and Academie de Langues in Switzerland. She worked as an Administrative Manager with the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, West African Enterprise Network in Ghana, and Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd. in Ghana before moving to WPL.
Mr. Edward Nii Mantey Addo
Business Development and Operations Manager
Mr. Edward N. M. Addo is the Business Development and Operations Manager of Winmat Publishers Limited. He attended Ashbury College, and has a degree in Economics from McMaster University with a Post Graduate/Masters degree in Business Process Management from Sheridan College in Canada.
He has 6 years experience in Analytical Management and Banking. Prior to occupying this role, he worked with CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce ) and Dynamic Distributions, Canada.
Mr. David Obodai
Accounts Manager
Mr. Obodai is the Accounts Manager for Winmat Publishers Limited. He holds an HND in Accounting and chartered with the Institution of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). He has over 21 years experience in the Publishing industry.
He started his career as the Accounts Officer at the Methodist Book Depot, where he worked successfully for six (6) years, and then to Unimax Macmillan where he worked as the Assistant Accounts Manager for seven (7) years. He joined Winmat Publishers Limited as Accounts Manager in July 2011.
Mr. Samuel Kwaku Adiasany
Marketing Manager
Mr. Samuel Kwaku Adiasany is the marketing Manager of Winmat Publishers Limited. He is a product of the University of Cape Coast, Business School. He pursued an MBA in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Commerce. Mr. Samuel has a very rich experience in the book industry in Ghana. He worked with E.P.P. Books Services as a Manager in several capacities and was one of the best staff while with the company.
Mr. Samuel Adiasany worked as both Warehouse Supervisor and as Ag. Accountant at Readwide Limited before joining Winmat Publishers Limited in 2021. His rich experiences in these capacities have sufficiently equipped him in handling all matters in the sales and marketing department.
